Fire safety belt is used by firefighters for preventing falls during fire fighting
I. Product Overview
The 17-type fire safety belt is composed of a woven belt, a buckle, a D-ring, and a movable plate. It mainly uses polyamide and hot-forged aluminum materials. It adopts a combined design of fixation and movement with the D-ring, and the main color is dark blue. It is divided into two styles: the improved insertion and modification type and the quick-release and infinitely adjustable type. The overall performance complies with the standard of “GA494-2004 Fire Prevention Fall Protection Equipment”.
II. Application Scope
The 17-type fire safety belt is used by firefighters for preventing falls during fire fighting, rescue operations, emergency response, or during daily training. It can also be used for escape and self-rescue in emergency situations.

IV. Main Technical Specifications
Design Maximum Load: The design maximum load of the fire safety belt is 1.33KN.
Static load performance: After all the pull rings on the fire safety belt were subjected to a static pull test of 13,000N in the upright direction and a static pull test of 10,000N in the horizontal direction, the fire safety belt did not come loose from the human model. The sliding distance of the belt buckle and the adjustment device did not exceed 10mm, and no obvious damage that would affect its safety performance was observed.
Impact resistance performance: When the fire safety belt is worn in the normal usage manner on a human model and raised to a position where the distance from the fixed point is no more than 305mm and the impact distance is 1m, it is kept upright and released without initial velocity. Then, the human model is raised to the original position, placed upside down, and released without initial velocity. In all cases, the fire safety belt did not come loose from the human model, and no obvious damage that would affect its safety performance occurred.
High-temperature resistance performance: After undergoing a high-temperature resistance test at 204ºC ± 5ºC, the webbing and stitching of the fire safety belt did not exhibit any melting or carbonization phenomena.
After the metal parts underwent the 48-hour neutral salt spray test as per GB/T10125-1997 “Corrosion Test by Artificial Atmosphere – Salt Spray Test”, their appearance met the requirements of the appearance grade assessment of GB/T6461-2002 “Rating of Samples and Specimens on Metal Substrates after Corrosion Tests” for the mild grade.
