The JJB30 Mine Laser Methane Remote Measuring Instrument is designed based on our company’s internationally leading optoelectronic device technology. It utilizes the fact that methane gas has an absorption effect on a specific wavelength of laser, and the absorption intensity is related to the concentration of methane gas (in accordance with the Lambert-Beer law).
This device is a handheld gas detector, mainly used for remote measurement of methane and methane-containing gases (natural gas or similar gases). By directing a laser beam at the detection point, the methane gas concentration within a distance of 0 to 30 meters can be quickly measured. By emitting a laser beam to the target point (such as the upper corner of the coal mine, gas pipelines, ceilings, walls, floors, ground, etc.) and then detecting the signal of the laser reflected back from the target point, the methane gas concentration distributed between the device and the path to the target point can be measured.
